The Federico García Lorca Centre is a cultural institution dedicated to research into the life and work of the poet from Granada, as well as to the diffusion of his literary work. I Inaugurated in 2015, its main objective was to conserve the poet’s legacy in association with the García Lorca Foundation, which is presided over by the poet’s heirs. It is also a space expressly conceived to host all kinds of contemporary artistic events. It has an auditorium, exhibition rooms, offices and a library equipped with a safe room to store the most valuable material.
It is located in Granada’s Plaza de la Romanilla, in the heart of the city’s historic centre.
